PO PO is an Indie Rock group from Philadelphia/Los Angeles signed on the Mad Decent Label. The PoPo bros aka Zeb and Shoaib made this mixtape while touring with sleigh bells last month. The sound of POPO is primarily indie rock/grunge but at times they deliver some solid asian inspired experimental noise. Currently working on their LP with Diplo and Ariel Rechtshaid (who previously produced for Foreign Born) you can expect a ground-breaking release soon. On Friday, July 30th, Janaka Selekta performed at Chicago’s Bhangratheque, a rock solid bhangra infused night thats been pushing strong for 4 years now. Each Bhangratheque venue is customized to the artist, so with Janaka arriving to chi-town, the venue had to give off an exotic and smooth feel to compliment his music.
